Styling a Unisex T-Shirt for women

Styling a Unisex T-Shirt for women

I have had a few emails from ladies asking me; “Why don’t you sell Womens style T-shirts?”

I can assure you this wasn’t a decision I made lightly. It wasn’t done to cut costs or even to reduce stock. I made the decision purely based on observations made while selling T-Shirts online, at conventions and feedback on social media @undeadapparel666.

I have always made a lot of sales of the unisex T-Shirts over the Women’s fit to women. Female influencers always request Unisex T-Shirt as they prefer the cut and like to “style it out”.

Often Women’s style T-shirts seem to be lighter in the structure of the fabric. The Cut is normally cut in just above the waist, the neckline is lower and the sleeves are shorter.

There are different styles of Women’s T-Shirt out there, but generally, this is true.

Where am I going with this?

I have trawled the internet on your behalf searching various women style websites, influencer pages and feedback from my customers. I want you ladies to know that I’m here to help you get the best from your Undead Apparel T-shirt.

Style 1 – Oversized

The oversized T-shirt never seems to go out of style. Don’t bother buying a specifically designed and overpriced oversized T-shirt, get a unisex style T-shirt one size bigger. This way you can get the oversized look without looking ridiculously baggy. This works great for lounging around the house or you can use it as a short dress, use a belt to pull it in around the waist or simply wear it loose with a jacket, trainers and knee-high socks. Why not try the dress look with fishnets and combat boots.

Style 2 – The crop top

Grab one of our designs that isn’t a full front print and you can cut away the bottom of the t-shirt to wear it as a crop top (80s style but it’s back in). Alternatively, if you don’t want to hack up a perfectly good t-shirt why not scoop it up to the front and tie a not in it to get a similar effect.

Style 3 – Vest

In true glam rock style why not turn your t-shirt into a vest, I’ve seen this done a few times and it looks really cool. Simply cut off the arms to create a vest and either leave it like that or cut a v into the front from the collar down the middle.

As you can see there are lots of ways you can try wearing your Unisex T-shirt. If you have any other ways you like to wear yours then please leave a comment below. T-shirts are amazing if you are looking for a low-key vibe or if you are looking to dress them up too. They’re comfortable too, made from 100% ring-spun cotton these Tees are so soft and light you won’t regret buying one!
